Songs in Hot 100 positions 3-6 hold tight, with the Black Eyed Peas'
"My Humps" keeping the No. 3 spot warm. "Soul
Survivor" and Nickelback's "Photograph" remain at No. 4
and No. 5, respectively, and Sean Paul's "We Be Burnin'" is
steady at No. 6.
Kelly Clarkson's "Because of You" rises from 8-7 while
T-Pain's "I'm Sprung" enters the top 10 with an 11-8 move.
Mariah Carey's "Shake It Off" stays at No. 9 and her single
"Don't Forget About Us," at No. 20, is this week's greatest
airplay gainer. Fall Out Boy's "Sugar, We're Goin' Down"
holds No. 10, while and the band's "Dance, Dance" is this
week's greatest sales gainer at No. 22.
Carrie Underwood's "Jesus, Take the Wheel" is this week's
top debut, crashing in at No. 48. Also new is Beyoncé's "Check
on It" featuring Slim Thug (No. 72), Nelly's "Grillz"
featuring Paul Wall, Ali & Gipp (No. 84), Lil' Wayne's
"Fireman" (No. 91) and Shinedown's "Save Me" (No.
92). The latter track also ascends to No. 1 on Billboard's Mainstream
Rock airplay chart, replacing Nickelback's "Photograph."
Shakira's "La Tortura" featuring Alejandro Sanz tops the Hot
Latin Songs chart for a 23rd non-consecutive week. Holding strong in
the lead of the Adult Contemporary airplay chart for a 14th week is
Rob Thomas' "Lonely No More." And for a fifth week, Keith
Urban's "Better Life" and Nine Inch Nails' "Only"
lead the Hot Country Songs chart and the Modern Rock airplay tally,
respectively.
